How We Started
One Accord has been part of the fabric of Calgary’s choral scene since 1999. Originally directed by Liz Paynter, Anita Perlau moved into the role in the fall of 2018.
One Accord was created with the goal of bringing people together to make music! The choir’s name reflects this.
Over the years, we have evolved to become a community of people with various singing experience and musical training.
Where We’re Headed
Our goal is to be a choir composed of adult singers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities who want to grow musically and share their love of choral singing with the larger community.
